The picture below of a “99” ice cream is from my first day in London! After I dropped my belongings off at the hostel, I decided to wander towards River Thames. I bought the iconic Flake and vanilla soft-serve treat and sat on a bench looking out at The London Eye. I watched couples walk by holding hands and groups of tourists take pictures. Even on a chilly and slightly rainy afternoon, eating the dessert was a great way to start the segment of my trip in England.
